How hourly hire works
You book the car and driver for a block of time rather than a fixed route. The rate is €65 per hour for the E-Class (up to three passengers) and €85 per hour for the V-Class (up to seven), with a minimum of four hours. Within that time the driver goes where you ask, waits while you are busy and keeps the car cool for when you come back.
Tell us the start time, the pick-up address and a rough outline of the day when you book. If plans change on the day, adjust them with the driver directly; if you need more time than booked, the extra hours are charged at the same rate.
Golf, shopping and Puerto Banús
The stretch between Marbella and Málaga is lined with golf courses, from the cluster around Nueva Andalucía to the courses above Mijas and Benalmádena. A V-Class takes a four-ball and their bags without fuss, and the driver can wait in the club car park or come back when you are on the 18th green.
For shopping, the driver drops you at the marina front in Puerto Banús, in Marbella's old town around Plaza de los Naranjos or on Calle Larios in Málaga, and keeps your bags in the car between stops. No hunting for parking, no carrying everything back to the hotel.
Dinners, weddings and evenings out
Some of the best tables on the coast sit up winding roads in the hills, where nobody wants to drive home after a bottle of wine. Book the driver for the evening, and they take you there, wait discreetly and get you back to the villa when you are ready.
For weddings and events we can move the couple, the family or guests between ceremony, photographs and reception, using several cars if the numbers call for it. Send us the timings and addresses in advance and we will plan the runs around them.
Business travel
If you are in Málaga or Marbella for meetings, a driver on hourly hire turns a day of appointments into one continuous trip: from the airport or hotel to the first meeting, on to lunch and back again. You can take calls or read in the back seat while someone else deals with the ring roads and the parking.

What is the minimum booking?
Four hours. Below that, a one-way transfer is usually the better option. Once you are past the minimum, you pay for the hours booked at €65 for the E-Class or €85 for the V-Class, and any extra time on the day goes at the same hourly rate.
Can the driver take us outside the Costa del Sol?
Yes, hourly hire is not limited to the coast. If your plan involves somewhere like Ronda or Granada with a visit to the monuments, though, one of our private day tours is usually better value, because it bundles the drive with an official guide.
Does the driver wait while we are at dinner or on the course?
Yes. Waiting is part of the service. The driver stays nearby, usually in the car park or a short call away, and is ready when you are. You do not need to tell them a finishing time to the minute; just send a message when you are about to leave.
How many people and bags fit in the car?
The E-Class seats up to three passengers and the V-Class up to seven. For golf the V-Class is the practical choice, as it takes several bags and trolleys. For larger parties, such as wedding guests, we can provide more than one vehicle.
How do we pay?
You pay the driver on the day of the service, by card or in cash, once the hours are done. No card is needed to make the booking, and cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the start time.
